Arni Pal

Arni Paul was born in 03 Jan 2006 to a family with meagre resources in Village Ragna in Dharmanagar, North Tripura. Her father is a small time farmer who toils to make the ends meet. Unfortunately, neither of the parents keep well and have life threatening diseases. Even young Arni has immunity issues. But this never dampened the spirit of gutsy Arni who has been participating in all cultural and art activities in her school and neighbourhood villages. But the financial condition not being conducive for pursuing even high school education, her parents were into the brink of stopping her education when Shuhrid Foundation identified her need through its volunteers. After a series of verification, Shuhrid not only provided her financial support to sustain her education, but also collaborated with private tutors who volunteered to teach her for free. Arni made us proud by passing her Xth board with flying colours and presently she is studying in Class XII.May the camera shy Arni’s dreams get the wings they deserve and her eyes keep shining always.
